-Candle Burning Safety & Tips-

To SAFELY burn and ENJOY your candles,
Please read the following safety precautions and tips. They are very important for your safety and will insure the proper burning of your candles.

-BEFORE LIGHTING YOUR CANDLE-

- Remove all packaging material, decoration, etc. from new candles.
DO NOT burn Dessert candles in their boxes!
- Place candle on a PROTECTED (Heat resistant) surface and make sure the wick is trimmed to 1/4" BEFORE lighting. Candle jars and Dessert candle tins can get very HOT while burning and cause damage to furniture, along with other surfaces.
- NEVER put ANY SCENTED ITEM on furniture or other unprotected surface!!! This includes ALL Candles, Tarts, Car & Closet Keepers, ALL Air Fresheners (ESPECIALLY B-AIR FRESHENERS!), Potpourris, Sticks & Stones, ALL Sachets, Scent Stones, Incense, Fire Starters, Soap, etc. The FRAGRANCE OIL used in making all of the above products will DAMAGE most surfaces and may stain fabric as well.
*I learned this the hard way! LOL Please learn from my mistake. :)

-WHILE Your Candle Is Burning-

- ALWAYS keep burning candles out of the reach of children & pets!
- Keep wax free of wick trimmings and other flammable objects.
- Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4" at all times to avoid smoke. Should candle begin to smoke, extinguish flame and allow candle to cool before trimming wick and re-lighting. Keep out of drafts.
- Burn only on a stable heat resistant surface for no longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Do not move a candle while burning or if wax is hot.
- Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax remains in bottom to avoid HEAT DAMAGE or a possible FIRE if the glass were to shatter.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY:
NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED!!!
